Recently associate professor Tkachenko S.M. has been teachning the disciplines “Computer Electronics”, “Computer Circuit Engineering”, “Computer Architecture”, “Computer Systems”, “System Programming”. During the period of study activity, he also taught disciplines “Computer Networks”, “Operating Systems”, “Programming”, “Designing Software for Computer Systems”, “Network Information Technologies”, etc.
Member of the joint project of Interpipe and NTU “Dnipro Polytechnic” INTERPIPE Mechatronic Lab. Co-author of the training course and trainer for the College Mechatronic League teams in the section "Programming Industrial Controllers Siemes Simatic" as part of the INTERPIPE Mechatronic Lab.

Tkachenko Serhii Mykolaiovych was born on August 2, 1977. From 1992 to 1995 he studied at the Dnepropetrovsk College of Automation and Telemechanics (now the University of Customs and Finance), received a diploma with honors in "Production of electronic and electrical automation equipment". In 1999 he graduated from the National Mining University with a degree in Computerized Control Systems and Automation, and received the qualification of a systems engineer. In the same year he entered graduate school and worked as a junior researcher/researcher in the Department of Aerology and Labor Protection. Direction of activity: the development of hardware and software, the introduction of information technology in the safety control processes of underground coal mine workings by atmospheric factors (in particular, dust explosion safety control) with the aim of predicting the danger of an explosion in the conditions of deposition and soaring dust accumulations in ventilation drifts of treatment faces.
In 2004 he defended his thesis on the specialty 05.26.01 "Labor Protection", and in 2011 received the title of Associate Professor in the Department of Automation and Computer Systems.
He began teaching activities in 2002. At first he worked as an assistant, and since 2005 as an associate professor at the Department of Automation and Computer Systems. Since 2019 he is the Associate Professor at the Department of Information Systems and Technologies of NTU "Dnipro Polytechnic". Assoc. Tkachenko S.M. has letters of appreciation and gratitude from NTU "DP" for fruitful work in the training of highly qualified specialists.
