The main interests of scientific activity are scientific and practical research in the direction of using IT in the areas of algorithms and statistical data processing.

As part of the dissertation research of Dereza A.Yu. resolved the scientific task of increasing the informativeness and reliability of the results of processing daily blood pressure measurements by applying modern methods of information analysis based on spline transformations and the development and implementation of an information-diagnostic automated data processing system for daily blood pressure monitoring. The work was implemented in several institutions of Ukraine, including the Dnipro State Medical Academy.

Author and co-author of 21 scientific articles and abstracts, 1 invention patent.

Biography

Dereza A.Yu. graduated with honors from Dnipropetrovsk National University and received the master’s degree in "Software of automated systems" in 2003. In 2006, he defended PhD thesis on the specialty "Automated control systems and advanced information technologies" and by the decision of the specialized academic council of the Dnipropetrovsk National University, he received the scientific degree of candidate of technical sciences (Ph.D. in Technology).

Since 2003, he has had commercial experience in software development and design, project management in product and outsourcing companies. Since 2012, he has been managing an IT enterprise – DataArt’s research and development center in the city of Dnipro.

In 2019 and 2020, he taught at the University of Customs and Finance. Since 2024, he has been teaching as an associate professor of the "Information Technologies and Computer Engineering" department of the NTU "Dnipro Polytechnic".
