Feedback:
Student of the Department of Geographic Information Systems in 1997-2002. Back in my first year, the department introduced me to the Kyiv company of my dreams (my future employer), as I recall, at a GIS conference in the assembly hall. It was easy for me to study, because from the first year of study I already understood where and what I wanted to do. It was the department that annually sent me to Kyiv for an internship at my request, where I enjoyed digitizing old Soviet maps, conducting GPS surveys of reference points, and learning software for processing satellite images. In my second year, we were taught the basics of Delphi programming. Then I got the opportunity to earn a little money by creating small but very useful programs for one of the local car dealerships.
In my fifth year, a world-renowned professor supervised my thesis on pattern recognition and image processing. I am still grateful to the head of the department for supporting our idea to write and defend our thesis in English. In general, our head of the department was a progressive and business-minded person, believed in the prospects of GIS, and supported the project he organized with his own hands with all his heart. He was a purposeful and demanding leader. He introduced advanced technologies into the educational process. He made sure that graduates had up-to-date knowledge.
After graduation, I moved to Kyiv and immediately got a job at my dream company as a surveyor. After five years of work, one day I decided to start my own business, leaving the company as the director of the sales and marketing department. The knowledge gained during his student years came in handy when he organized his company, and especially when he recruited and trained new people.
Now, looking back 20 years, I remember with great gratitude all the teachers of the department, without whom I would not have had everything I have today. They are true professionals who clearly gave, systematically explained and conveyed their knowledge to us. But most importantly, in my opinion, there were no indifferent people among them! They cared about what kind of specialists we would become. For that, they are greatly appreciated.
Most of our group of graduates work as engineers, we all still have warm relationships, we are friends, many of us have remarried. But when we get together, we always remember the pleasant creative atmosphere in which we studied, thanks to our teachers.

At our department, I got a ticket to the world of software development, gained my primary skills in the magical universe of programming. Under the sensitive and vigilant guidance of the highly qualified teaching staff, I took my first steps in program development. It was here that I was provided with the knowledge that allowed me to move on on my own and open up new horizons, developing as a developer.

While studying at Dnipro University of Technology in the specialty 123 "Computer Engineering" from 2012 to 2017, I received a comprehensive theoretical basis and practical skills to obtain a position of an engineer in a leading design company in Ukraine. I love my university for the brightest and most unforgettable student years: for the help in realizing creative ideas, for my most loyal and best friends, for my strong knowledge, for the opportunity to participate in forums and student government. Studying was not easy but interesting. I was lucky to study with caring and professional teachers. The lecturers knew for sure that they had to teach us not only their subject, but also how to make decisions and take responsibility. Not the least role in my professional achievements was played by the certificates in the field of information technology that I received during my studies. I am glad that I studied here.

Feedback:
During my years at the department, I have encountered nice people and current industry professionals with quite a bit of experience, which they were happy to share. There were also those with whom it was very difficult to establish a dialog, but this is only at first. The training program allows you to touch the realities of the industry, but not 100%, probably this indicator is impossible to achieve in any of the universities. Technical support allows you to conduct quite complex experiments, moreover, the teachers themselves motivate students to use the technical capabilities to the fullest to get experience outside the training program, for which they are very grateful. The department staff has always responded to a request for help with student projects or explained quite lucidly why a project will not "take off". Teachers guide the student, support, motivate.
Dear staff of the department, thank you for the fact that now I take part in the solution of problems that are exaggeratedly important for all mankind and for future generations. They say that the success of a person depends 90% on himself and 10% on his environment, but these 10% are important, I think, they are the spark that in the future becomes the flame of professionalism.

I studied at the department from 2013 to 2018. The department provides relevant knowledge and skills. Most of the teachers of the department are practicing specialists. The set of disciplines provides both practical skills (systems programming, networking, processing and decoding of aerospace images, web development, administration) and a solid theoretical basis (discrete mathematics, mathematical statistics, probability theory, mathematical logic). The department has a friendly, friendly atmosphere. It's a place where "everyone knows everyone", where they will always help and motivate. I am glad that I studied here because I received interesting and practical knowledge, a lot of positive impressions, and met wonderful and talented people.

I remember my years of study at the department with great pleasure and warmth. Here I got acquainted with the world of IT, which later allowed me to do what I love and earn a decent salary. I believe that I received the basic and very good information base during my studies, and then I chose what I needed for a specific professional activity. At the same time, the different disciplines studied allow you to choose from different IT areas in which you can develop and which are more suitable for you.
I believe that the teaching staff is very professional. And most importantly, they love what they do, share their knowledge, support, and guide. You can always ask for advice or help.
I would also like to note the large number of practical tasks that were part of the learning process, as I consider this a very important component.
I have never regretted that I received my higher education at this department and would come here to study again. I am grateful to all the teachers who helped me to become a professional!

I studied at the department for 5 years, after that I worked as a teacher and researcher for the same period. While studying and working, I gained extremely useful knowledge and skills that helped me a lot in my future work. As a student, I had the opportunity to develop real information technology, thereby consolidating the knowledge gained in practice.
I would also like to emphasize the quality of teaching and the overall organization of the educational process. In my opinion, the level of theoretical and practical training of specialists at the department is quite sufficient to successfully find a job in leading IT companies after graduation.

Our department is my springboard to adulthood. The set of information technologies studied by the students of the department allows you to choose exactly the profile that you will be interested in after graduation. Moreover, there is an opportunity not only to study technologies in theory, but also to participate in real projects - developments of the department or in practice in other organizations.
I am very proud that I not only studied at the department, but also stayed to work at it, where I spent the next 7 fruitful years.
I wish all applicants and students to make the right choice. Being an IT specialist is cool!

Feedback:
In 2017, I graduated with a master's degree in 123. I would like to note the high quality of teaching both general disciplines and specialized subjects in the specialty. The specialty "Computer Engineering" at the Faculty of Information Technology met my expectations and gave me a good knowledge base for getting a promising job. My studies at Dnipro University of Technology were meaningful, fun and interesting. I remember these years only positively. Here I found new friends and met interesting people. The teaching of subjects is at a high level, each of the teachers has their own approach, their own vision of the subject. The department is always happy to see students, and most importantly, they treat them with understanding and have never refused to help me and tried to help me in any way possible.
Perhaps the most important thing I have learned over the years is to look at things adequately and rationally, to understand the economic reality in which we live, and to deepen the basic knowledge gained at the university.
